It is so lovely when people put their hand up to help out the ACOCP, so we'd like to introduce and give a shout out to Johanna Hayes from The Photo Store
About
Johanna Hayes – The Photo Store www.thephotostore.com.au
The Photo Store is an importer and wholesaler of professional photo albums and photographic presentation products.
We have been supplying albums to Pro Photographers and Glamour Studios since 1997. Our range of products is the "off-the-shelf" alternative to custom album manufacture, so our pricing is ultra competitive and stock is readily available. The Photo Store’s albums are not limited to Wedding use. Proud parents can display precious family photographs and Graduation memories. You can use the album to present your own portfolio of photos, giving them a "Professional Look". Groups of friends and family can share the cost and purchase a wonderful Anniversary Gift or Wedding Present.
How did you find out about the ACOCP?
I saw a recent advertisement in the AIPP Newsletter calling for volunteer photographers. I was intrigued and went to the website to read more. As soon as I read about Siobhan Cowell and her past life as a Registered Nurse I felt an instant connection. I too had been an Intensive Care Nurse and could relate to how precious photographic memories would be for families with critically ill children.
What made you to want to help the ACOCP?
Put simply, I’ve been really lucky to have 2 sons who are happy and well. As a nurse I saw many who weren’t so lucky.
I knew that I couldn’t take photos, but I could offer photo albums to present the gift of photographic memories to the families.
Why do you think we need a community like the ACOCP?
Life is not always a fairytale and unfortunately the ending isn’t always happy. The kindness of volunteer photographers with the ACOCP can help keep memories alive in the hearts of the recipients.
Johanna is one of our newest supporters and we really appreciate her commitment to the ACOCP
Without the help of people like Johanna the ACOCP would not be the great organisation it is today
Thanks Johanna!
